Sometimes you just need to forget about what is good, and do what is good for you

First of all, I apologize for being MIA again but this time it was because I have been a bit busy with uni and Be Scene, mainly Be Scene. For the past few months Brooke and I have been completely re-vamping the site. Why? Because Be Scene was a site primarily dedicated to the Scene genre, a vogue if you will which has been rapidly dying for a long time now. We also were beginning to not enjoy it anymore so we re-assesed things and went with something we loved. What made us stop enjoying it was not the models but rather whatever this ‘scene’ thing is, so we converted the site completely to alternative models and finally after two months the site is now back open.
So what is with the blog title? Well I’ve been kind of feeling really bummed lately about my designs, not my signatures or anything like that but website designs and I realized that I was focusing too much on what everyone else is doing instead of focusing on myself. I really feel like a total idiot, the whole point is to stand out not blend in. So I feel like I need to get into photoshop and do what I do best and that is to just go with it, don’t plan, don’t visualize just play and discover. I am going to start with a new layout here and then go from there. I guess that is some great advice for everyone, everyone is different and we are built with our own strengths and our styles, it is what makes us all unique so flaunt that, you can’t achieve imitation it only leads to frustration!
I have a few goodies for you all, I just don’t have the time to add them right at this moment, but I will update this post when I do, I am kind of in the middle of my uni exams at the moment so bear with me.

Hi I'm Melissa Jade, my name for all legal purposes, but I prefer to be called Mel. I am 21 years old and a Teacher in the making

of a walking contradiction.
